Her last gymnastics class

Syd has finished up the gymnastics with parent program at the YMCA. She started as a Pumpkin when she was 11 months old and moved up to Scooters when she was 2 years old. At 4 years old kids get to move on to a program without parent. We haven't been able to fit it into our schedule yet, but I'm hoping we can get back to it soon. She really loved gymnastics. Here are some pictures from her last class as a Scooter. At the end of every class Coach Casey takes them through an exercise where they pretend they are animals. These pictures are from that.

Mother's Day at the Zoo

For Mother's Day this year we went to the Toledo Zoo. We had a blast as usual. You can't beat the zoo. Syd's favorite part of the zoo is seeing the penguins and the monkeys and playing on the playground. Here she is sliding down the slide, followed by Zack (who barely fit, but did make it down).
